Hi,
Like many of you, I've been watching the unfolding conflict in the Middle East with a heavy heart. The images, the headlines, the uncertainty. It's hard not to feel it deeply. I'll be honest… some moments have left me feeling unsettled, even a little overwhelmed, as I think of the innocent families caught in the middle.
When I think of that tension, I come back to the story of Daniel. Standing in the middle of political turmoil, foreign invasion and personal threat, Daniel must have felt the uncertainty pressing in on every side. And still, Scripture tells us that he "set his heart to understand" and sought the Lord. He didn't deny the danger around him, but he knew Who held him. I can relate to that. Perhaps you can too.
As followers of Jesus, we're reminded that even when nations shake, God does not. He is our refuge and strength, an ever‑present help in trouble. That truth doesn't make the news less painful, but it does steady our hearts when they start to tremble.
As a team, we've been praying earnestly for peace. For wisdom for leaders. For protection over families and children. For comfort for the grieving and displaced. And I know many of you are praying right alongside us.
This is where Vision can play an important role. In the midst of global conflict and uncertainty, we continue to offer a steady, hope‑filled voice. Through our programs, news updates, devotionals and worship, we help people lift their eyes toward God—not pretending the trouble isn't real but remembering that He is greater still.
I'm also mindful of the impact here at home. Many Australians have family and friends directly affected. My prayer is that through Vision, people will find reassurance, clarity, and a reminder that Jesus remains our anchor, firm and secure.
Thank you for standing with us. Your support means that in moments like this, people across Australia and beyond can turn on the radio, open the Vision app, or read a devotion that whispers, "God is near, and He hasn't forgotten you." |
