Hi,
On Monday afternoon, millions of Australians heard a sound they knew was coming.
For days, people had been told to expect the nationwide AusAlert test. Then the moment arrived. Phones vibrated. Screens lit up. A loud alert broke through silent mode and "Do Not Disturb" settings.
For a few moments, conversations paused. Meetings stopped. People looked up.
Even though the alert had been anticipated, there was still a sense of uncertainty. How would it sound? Would it be disruptive? How would people react?
And for a moment, the nation paused and paid attention.
It got me thinking.
Every day, countless voices compete for our attention. Headlines race past, notifications interrupt, responsibilities press in, and uncertainty about the future whispers at the edge of our thoughts.
Yet in the middle of all that noise, God is still speaking.
Jesus said:
"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27
Just as the AusAlert was designed to cut through the noise and capture our attention, God's voice reaches into the distractions of everyday life, reminding us of who is truly in control.
When uncertainty rises, He reminds us that He is our peace.
When fear tries to take hold, He reminds us that He is with us.
When we feel overwhelmed by the demands of life, He gently draws us back to Himself.
Unlike the alert that sounded across Australia this week, God's message is not reserved for moments of crisis or concern.
His invitation is for every day:
"Come to Me."
"Trust Me."
"Follow Me."
Right now, many Australians are searching for hope, direction and reassurance in an increasingly uncertain world. Through Vision's radio broadcasts, podcasts, devotionals, digital content and prayer ministry, people are hearing the life-changing message of Jesus every day.
And it's only possible because faithful supporters like you help God's message of hope continue to reach those searching for reassurance, purpose and truth.
While a phone alert may last only a few seconds, God's truth endures forever.
So today, take a moment to pause. Listen. Be still before Him.
Because the most important message you'll ever receive is the one that comes from God.
Today's Prayer
Lord, thank You that Your voice remains steady when everything around us can feel uncertain. Help us quiet the noise around us and tune our hearts to hear You. Give us the courage to trust You, follow Your leading, and rest in Your peace. Amen.
Blessings,
