Thank you for your generosity! |
Hi,
Celebration and honour. When I think of you and all of the thousands of people in the Vision Family spread across the far corners of Australia and beyond who took part in Visionathon last week… those are the words that come to mind.
I want to celebrate you and honour you. Thank you for taking part in praying, listening, sharing and giving… some out of your abundance, or sacrificially or out of your stretch.
Because of your support, Vision continues to reach across Australia and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus through media – into cars, kitchens, tractors, shearing sheds, and on phones – helping people lift their eyes to God.
Because of you, thousands more lives will be encouraged, strengthened in the Christian faith and be able to take their next step empowered by hope.
So, I encourage you to watch this special message. It includes Joan from Wagga Wagga NSW sharing just how much Vision helps her daily: |
 |
“You can’t read the Bible all day, but you can turn Vision on… and it gives you everything you need. A worship song lifts you up. A story reminds you you’re not alone. And it keeps you connected to God’s Word all day long.”
That’s the kind of everyday transformation you make possible.
As you know, this year’s Visionathon goal is $2.2 million. Here’s an interesting thought related to 2.2.
Did you know that the foundational scripture Vision’s name is based on is Habakkuk 2:2? It’s where God gives us a powerful reminder:
“Write the vision; make it plain… so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time… If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2–3 ESV
That’s where we find ourselves now – in the middle, in the waiting, looking in faith to the finish line.
I’m so thankful for the incredible start you’ve helped make possible during Visionathon. Your generosity has brought us a long way in running with the vision to take the Good News to every corner of Australia and beyond. But we’re not quite yet at the $2.2 million finish line.
That’s why from Wednesday next week there’ll be a few days set aside for the on-air live event to help finish the final steps to keep Vision growing and going.
So, would you do three things?
I’m so grateful you’re part of this mission. God is using you – and many others – to speak hope, truth, and courage into countless lives.
Let’s keep going. Together, you’re not just watching the vision unfold – you’re part of it. |
