Joking aside, I do not know exactly where this will lead. What reassures me is that none of it takes God by surprise. We need not meet the future with blind enthusiasm or fear.
Technology can be a useful servant, especially if it finds those glasses, but it can never be our source of identity, truth or hope. No machine can replace God’s Word, the Holy Spirit’s guidance or a caring Christian community.
I keep returning to James 1:5:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.”
I need that wisdom, we all do.
In a world shaped by algorithms, listening well remains inherently human, and at its soul, a hallmark of Christianity. It requires humility and reminds us that wisdom comes from seeking God and hearing one another.
That is why at Vision we want to keep listening to you rather than chasing technology or assuming we know what you need.
Your feedback through the Vision Community Survey will help shape radio, devotionals and other resources that encourage you and help more Australians look to God daily.
If you have already completed the survey, thank you. If not, would you set aside around 10 minutes this week to have your say? Your responses will remain confidential.
Please complete the Vision Community Survey by Wednesday 30 September using the survey link in this email.
Please pray for our team, that we will use every helpful tool with discernment, hold firmly to biblical truth and never lose sight of the individual people God has called us to serve.
Thank you for being part of the Vision family. It is a privilege to serve alongside you. Whatever changes the future brings, I am grateful that together we can keep helping Australians look to God daily. |
