A Powerful Reminder From Space |
Hi,
What an historic moment we witnessed this week, as two astronauts who were supposed to be in space for nine days, arrived safely back on Earth after spending nine months stuck on the International Space Station. It is hard to imagine what that was like for them!
When asked on live TV about the life lessons he takes from this incredible experience, Commander Butch Wilmore went straight to his “solid rock”. He said, “It all goes back to my faith. It’s bound in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is working out His plan and His purposes throughout all of Humanity. And I am content because I understand that.”
I can't say I heard any Australian mainstream outfit report Butch Wilmore’s powerful words about his faith in Jesus – but it makes my heart glad that we actively share these kinds of stories through Vision. And with your help, we can keep helping people hear and see the true hope of God’s Word in action Australia-wide 24/7.
Most of us won’t ever spend months stuck in space. But we all face unexpected or challenging situations that can feel just as overwhelming, like work pressures, caring for family, or making tough decisions. But we too can stand on the solid rock of Jesus!
Let that thought encourage your heart today.
