Hi,
Christmas means different things to different people. Lights. Gifts. Parties. Family traditions. But no matter how it’s wrapped up, Jesus is at the centre of Christmas.
Last weekend, my wife and I were looking for a carols event to go to. There were two options in our local area. One was being run by the council, the other one was hosted by a church. We ended up going to the church event, but a friend of ours chose the council alternative instead.
Later they told how disappointed they were. The carols looked festive, and the stage was impressive. But the true heart of Christmas was missing.
The church event kept the focus on the true reason for the season. Jesus was at the centre of everything. We walked away reminded of the gift God gave to the world, and just how much we still need that message today.
And thanks to your support, Vision can continue to stay true to the message, too. A unified Christian voice that puts Jesus first, music that speaks to the heart, and a hope that doesn’t fade when Christmas is over.
