God's Perfect Design For Marriage |

Hi,
Marriage is God’s idea. From the very beginning, He saw that “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him” (Genesis 2:18 NIV). God’s design is for a man and a woman to be joined together, united in love and purpose.
This week, from the 14th – 20th September, we’re celebrating Marriage Week Australia. It’s a time to honour the gift of marriage and to encourage one another to keep building relationships that reflect God and His love. Strong marriages not only bless families, but also strengthen communities.
In a world where tragic news can strike without warning—such as the assassination this week of Christian Commentator Charlie Kirk, our hearts are heavy and our spirits unsettled. We lift his wife and young children up in our prayers at this heartbreaking time. Moments like these remind us of how deeply we need God. His design for human connection gives us stability, hope and a legacy of love that endures even in dark times.
At Vision, we want to celebrate and strengthen marriages across our nation. But we also know that people walk different paths. Some are married, some are single, and others have faced loss or change.
