Why Does Gratitude Matter So Much? |
Hi,
Every now and then, one of the Vision Family sends us a message that really grabs our attention. A letter. A phone call. An email. Sometimes even a handwritten note.
What stands out in these moments is not just what’s said, but the heart behind it.
Thank you.
Two simple words that carry such deep meaning.
As a Vison Team, we’ve all been deeply touched by the many thank you messages that so many of you as part of the Vision Family have been sharing recently. From those of you who have found encouragement during grief, to people struggling with mental health who say they feel less alone. From everyday Aussies simply saying they’ve been helped to look to God daily.
Your thanks has been seen.
Gratitude is one of the most powerful expressions of faith. In Luke 17, Jesus healed ten lepers. But only one came back to thank Him. That moment mattered so much, Jesus stopped to recognise it. Because gratitude is countercultural in a world that’s always rushing to the next thing.
Here’s just one of those messages of thanks, from Jincy in Drewvale, Queensland, who had this to say:
“I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work you continue to do. Your unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel, uplifting families, and bringing the hope of Christ into homes across Australia is truly inspiring. Vision is more than just a media ministry. It’s a lifeline of encouragement, truth, and faith in a world that desperately needs it."
Your support and kind words are so meaningful and appreciated.
And I just want to say, thank you back. You are helping to carry hope across Australia and beyond. |

PS – Thank you. We really mean it. For every message of encouragement. For every prayer. For every gift. It reminds us why we do what we do together, and that we're not in this alone. |

Intellectualism and Christianity |
Can Christians be intellectual? The way God explains reality in the Bible is not in agreement with modern academics. Christians who follow God’s values face a lot of criticism, especially when compared to today’s dominant cultural narrative, which claims anything goes. |
