The images and stories coming out of the Middle East in recent weeks are a sobering reminder that our world is still marked by conflict, pain and uncertainty. It’s in times like these that the message of Easter speaks with renewed clarity and power.
The cross reminds us that God saw the brokenness of this world and chose to step into it. Jesus took our sin, our brokenness and our burdens to the cross, giving His life so we could be forgiven and restored.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Three days later the tomb was empty. Jesus rose from the grave, defeating sin and death forever! Because of the resurrection, we have a living hope that changes everything.
In a world that feels uncertain and troubled right now, the message of Easter still points us to the One who shows the way, who brings truth and who offers eternal life.
