Hi,
I’ve been sitting with that question this week.
We remember the cross. We celebrate the empty tomb. We rejoice that Jesus is risen. But Easter is not only something to look back on once a year. It changes how we live now.
It has been so encouraging to hear that thousands of Australians chose to be baptized over the Easter weekend (at mass events and in individual churches). Each of these believers have made a public declaration of their faith in Jesus. It seems that God is moving in a new way!
But, did you know, because of Easter, every believer is invited into resurrection life every day? We have renewed hope, perspective and courage through Jesus. Because He rose, we don’t have to be ruled by fear, discouragement, or the weight of what’s happening around us. His death and resurrection mean new life is not just a future promise.
And I think we need that reminder right now.
You only have to glance at the news to feel how uncertain the world can seem. Even when there are welcome signs of restraint or ceasefire, the atmosphere across nations still feels fragile. But Jesus has not changed. He is still the way, the truth, and the life. He is still the bread of life. And when we fix our hearts on Him and on His Word, we remember that God is bigger than the moment we are in.
So the question after Easter is not, “What next?” as though it is over.
It is, “How do we live now that Jesus is alive?”
We live with faith. We live with confidence in God. We live as salt and light. We live in a way that helps others see Him more clearly. And we are deeply thankful for your faithfulness. Your support makes Vision possible, helping people look to God daily across Australia.
Below, you’ll find some of what’s new on Vision right now. I pray it encourages you, strengthens your faith, and helps you keep looking to God daily.
