Christ’s Ambassadors in a Complex World
|
Hi,
A lot sure has happened in the world since our last Vision Today email, just a week ago!
A signed peace deal in the Middle East. The release of Israeli hostages. An apparent end to the Gaza war. Time will tell how it all plays out – but one thing is clear: we live in a complex, fragile world that desperately needs the Prince of Peace.
In moments like these, we’re reminded of our calling – not to retreat, but to represent. As Christ’s Ambassadors, we carry a message of hope that transcends politics, borders, and headlines.
Last week I highlighted the story of Joshua, and it clearly struck a chord with many of you, so here are some more practical lessons we can draw from his life:
Be present. In your workplace, community, and home. Be a light that reflects Jesus.
Be courageous. Stand firm in truth, even when it’s countercultural.
Be compassionate. Let your convictions be wrapped in grace and love.
Be prayerful. Intercede for our leaders, our nation, and those caught in conflict.
Like Joshua, we are called to be strong and courageous, even when the Gospel message may be unpopular or misunderstood.
We don’t walk this path alone. God is with us. His Spirit empowers us. And together, we stand as a bold witness to the hope found in Christ.
Thank you for being part of this mission, here to help people every day to know truth and hope across Australia and beyond.

PS – Visionathon is now just weeks away. It is a time for believers to rise and sing, above the noise and confusion of the world – coming together to declare God’s truth with courage and clarity. Please pray about how you will respond, in the first week of November.
