Can We Feed 35,000 Kids This Year? |
Hi,
Thousands of children around the world have been forced to flee the horrors of war. Many now live in Ugandan refugee settlements, separated from their families and carrying deep scars from the violence they’ve endured.
They are determined to stay in school and build a future. But hunger gets in the way.
That’s why Vision is again partnering with Feed The Hungry for Take Away Hunger Day on Thursday 21 August. Together, over the past three years, we’ve provided more than 62,155 refugee children with hot, nutritious meals - helping them learn, grow, and know they aren’t forgotten. Last year alone, Vision supporters like you fed 34,639 children.
This year, we’re aiming to feed 35,000 children. And if we hit our goal, the Vision family will have provided almost 3 million meals! Just $6 provides a refugee child in Uganda with a nutritious meal every day for a month at school. For many, it’s the only meal they will eat that day. A gift of $60 could feed 10 children for a month, and $600 could feed an entire classroom.
These meals do more than fill stomachs. They help children focus in class, stay healthy, and hold on to hope. And through Feed the Hungry, they also hear about the God who loves them and has not forgotten them.
It’s more than a meal. You’re providing a future.
Thank you for standing with us to meet this urgent need and share the hope of Jesus. Your gift today can make an immediate, life-changing difference for a child who is hungry and hurting.
Will you give today so a child in need can eat, learn, and dream again? |

Be Authentic |
On this episode of Faith Boost, Pastor Andrew McLennan shares a powerful reminder that being real and authentic isn’t just a helpful trait. It’s what God calls us to as believers. Drawing from the story of Absalom in 2 Samuel 15, Andrew unpacks the damage caused when we choose image over honesty and appearance over authenticity. |
