Dear Friend,
I wonder if you’ve ever experienced this. You’re on a challenging climb – your legs are tired, the top of the hill still seems far off, and that next step is so hard to take. And just when you think you can’t go on anymore, out of nowhere a friend arrives with refreshments and an encouraging word, saying, “You’re not alone; let’s do this together!”
That’s the power of HELPING. And it’s a great picture of what you and I do together as we deliver the true hope of the Gospel 24/7 to every corner of Australia through Vision. Together we bring refreshment to the exhausted and direction to the lost.
Individualism and self-worship have become the hallmarks of our culture, but they lead to dead-ends. The evidences of our society’s broken moral compass are everywhere!
But HELPERS who know the way see the people all around them who are lost or exhausted, and choose not to stand idly by – they take action.
That’s you! Your faithful support helps people look to God daily – you are a true ‘minister of reconciliation’ (see 2 Cor 5:17-20 RSV).
Your support of Vision plays a vital partnership role in the spiritual growth and disciple-making of people across every corner of Australia and beyond.
And today, I’m asking you to prayerfully consider if you can go a step further to become a 365Visionary.
A 365Visionary is a person who gives a special gift of $365, (which represents $1 a day over a year), to help people look to God daily.
Why? We have declared 2025 to be a year of spiritual growth and disciple-making to reach more people. Our hope is that we might inspire millions of believers to be even more active and intentional, just like the early church, who “…devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42 RSV)
And I want to encourage you that just like the early church in the first century, Australian lives in 2025 are changing as we strengthen our resolve to this mission!
Sam is just one of the many people you’re helping to disciple:
‘Vision has enriched my faith journey in recent times navigating through difficult circumstances. It has been a daily source of encouragement.’
Megan says:
‘I have been able to give out The Word for Today booklets to family and others to read scripture. I know God is working in their hearts from this seed. What a blessing to have this resource.’
That’s why I’m inviting you to prayerfully consider becoming a 365Visionary… so that together we can help more people look to God daily.
Your special gift of $365 (which represents a $1 a day over a year) will help grow people spiritually and disciple them each and every day.
Imagine if 100, or 1,000 or 10,000 people stepped up to help bring 365 days of disciple-making ministry! What a significant difference there will be in the lives of people in our communities when your generosity is used to bring more people closer to Jesus daily, just as Sam and Megan experienced.
Friend, I’m grateful to the faithful pioneers who started this mission – people much like you and I, way back in 1988. The beginning was small. They gave diligently. They responded to God’s call to kickstart this ministry.
Their aim was to take the Gospel to every corner of Australia.
The legacy of their initial faith, and the persistence of all of us who have continued to invest in the mission is clear, with over a million people every month helped through Vision’s nationwide radio, print and online media ministry.
And, now it’s our time to carry this mission further forward.
Your 365Visionary gift will continue to our ability to help thousands more people across Australia and beyond look to God daily – bringing refreshment and direction, and activating even more spiritual growth and disciple-making.
Giving is easy to do. You may want to call one of the Vision team on 1800 007 770 or go online to make your gift securely.
Thank you for your part as you join with thousands in this life-changing ministry, where together we help people look to God daily.
