From Legacy to Lasting Impact |
Hi,
Early this morning we received news that Dr James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, has gone home to be with the Lord, aged 89. This one man, devoted to Jesus, has had an incredible impact on families that will last for generations, including for many of us here at Vision. We thank God for his life and legacy.
In the same way, your generosity is changing lives and leaving an eternal legacy.
Your support of our Take Away Hunger Day appeal has been simply amazing. Because of your kindness, over 42,000 refugee children in Uganda will now receive the food they so desperately need – that’s 7,000 more than we were aiming for, praise God! Together, over the past three years, the Vision family has now provided more than 100,000 meals of hope in partnership with Feed the Hungry.
That’s a powerful reminder of what God can do when His people step out in faith and give generously. Every gift is turned into practical help as children in refugee camps and poverty-stricken communities are enabled to stay in school, have the strength to learn, and discover hope for their future.
On behalf of the team at Vision and our friends at Feed the Hungry, thank you. Your partnership has made an eternal difference in the lives of children who might otherwise have gone without.

PS – Just as God cares for hungry children through your generosity, He also cares deeply about marriages. Dr James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, reminded us often of this truth. The upcoming Journey to Us Marriage Retreat this September is a special opportunity to reconnect, grow in faith, and be refreshed in God’s design for marriage. |
