What a week it has been. Police in full riot gear clashing with protestors. An earthquake. A major change to defence policy, talk of another GFC, ongoing lockdowns – it’s sure been a week full of “things to worry about”.
The Apostle Paul was no stranger to stressful times, and gave us some good direction to help us keep our priorities in focus when things get challenging;
Let us not become weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 NIV
Those eight words are incredibly powerful. They speak to the heart of God’s desire for us to be salt and light in our world. They take the focus off our own desires (and fears), cause us to think about others more than ourselves.
Let me encourage you today, no matter how crazy the world gets, never lose focus on Jesus and the mission he has put before you, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.
