Wow, did we hear some amazing storieslast week during Visionathon! And we are so grateful for the effort and contributions of so many. We didn't quite reach our target at Visionathon of $1,400,000...but as the mid-year appeal continues till the end of June,this week we have continued to receive generous donations,so thank you all. Without you,
this media ministry would not be possible. We literally have had thousands of responses with people sharing their heartfelt testimonies and real-life stories, and our prayer helpline had the opportunity to pray with many of them together. One particular supporter, called Greg, really caught my attention...
I listen to Vision every day. I've been saved for about seven months. A year and a half ago I was homeless. I'd been on ice for 31 years and I was insane with psychosis. I knocked on the church doors, and I've never stopped going to this day. I
am mentally stable, I have my son back and we have a place to live.
What an amazing transformation in God for Greg, and it's been such a blessing to be a part of seeing this new man emerge...as the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17(RSV)...
Therefore, if anyone
is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.
Please continue to pray for people like Greg - those that have been lost through so many different things in life, that they will be drawn back to the true livingwater of life– Christ our saviour.
