Through the ups and downs of this year, how do you feel about the word always in this verse?
How wonderful that we as Christians can place our hope in the Lord always. None of the uncertainty
of the past few years is a surprise to Him and this verse reminds us how often we should rejoice, pray and give thanks - and that is always!
As we approach Christmas and the prospect of a New Year, there is still much uncertainty surrounding us. We might not feel like rejoicing in our current circumstances, but we can rejoice in knowing that God has a plan and a purpose. And while we might not understand, we can trust that He is weaving the tapestry of our lives into something good.
