Dear ,

A scripture this week really made me think.

"Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city" Proverbs 16:32 (NIV)

Patience and self-control seem to be in short supply these days. Tensions are high, people are divided. But here, Solomon gives us some good advice. Take a step back...Breathe.

If you're feeling tired from the battle, remember the words of Isaiah.

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV

I trust the articles we've put together for you this week are also a great encouragement – please feel free to share them!
